I recently taught a wildflower photography workshop and shot this photo at one of our locations. Later when I pulled this photo up to edit, it really reminded me of our coming resurrection with many of the flower stems shooting towards the heavens. I usually hate to bring up the resurrection, because it seems like most people want to engage in vain arguments over what they believe, Post vs. Pre Tribulation Resurrection. No one can really now for sure, so I just simply hope for a pre trib resurrection yet plan for a post trib resurrection! Revelation 20:6 “Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.”

postscript…Just heard that David Wilkerson was killed in a car accident in East Texas. My heart breaks! I will miss his writings, which have greatly influenced me since I was a teen in the early 70’s. 2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”

Oh my goodness….I hadn’t heard about David Wilkerson. I too will miss his work…for a time! Oh to be with the Father!! I am so looking forward to it.
