Sorry for the long gap since my last post. I’ve been recovering from Shannon’s wedding on one hand and getting ready for Kaitlin’s wedding in Sept on the other. My other daughter Kelly and her fiance announced their wedding in December. Our oldest son Sean announced that he and his bride were secretly married earlier this year. All four of my children will have wed in 2011! Whats up with that God:)
I have to report Shannon’s wedding was wonderful. Since I was ministering the wedding, I had the best angle for the big kiss as you can see above. One great thing happened before the service. It was almost 100 degrees just before the ceremony was to start. A rain cloud from no where moved in and brought a strong cool breeze with it. It felt like 80 degrees. I could smell a little rain, but it never made it to the ground.
Marriage is such a wonderful gift God has given us! His marriage covenant with us is forever. No death will ever part us believers from God! Marriage is a sacred institution started by our creator and should not be mocked by those who hate our loving creator. Isaiah writes...”for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married. 5 As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.”
