I did not become a follower of Jesus Christ until a little later in my life. What seemed to keep me away was this fear of becoming religious. I had studied Jesus and found him to be like what I wanted to be. However, like His pre-resurrection disciples, most Christians did not live as if they really believed. Most seemed almost embarrassed about their beliefs. When I finally surrendered my fears to Jesus and decided to follow him when I was 30, I begged Him to never allow me to become religious. I just wanted to love others the way Jesus does…easier said than done. I did find that Jesus does offer us His heart in place of ours. The photo here was shot in Romania of a small Muslim street child. This photo has become an icon in my walk with Jesus Christ. She is a reminder to me that there are others who need God’s love and I have been commanded to deliver His love… John 13:34
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

Kevin, it is truly an honor to be connected and in regular fellowship with You and your precious Family. As I’ve spent the last several 15 mins really studying each of your picture & their captions- I’ve been so deeply inspired and encouraged. Thank you brother. You and your Family are true treasures on this earth. I thank God for the Vandivier Family. Phil 1:3; 2Cor 9:11
